Shipping Information:


Unless your company has specific routing requirements, the majority of Rumford orders are shipped via UPS. Larger orders, both truckload and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments, are sent via Rumford's best common carrier.




Refund & Return Policy:

If there is a problem with your shipment, The Rumford Gardener needs to be notified of the return within 5 days of receiving your order. Please contact us at sales@rumfordgardener.com to set up a return. You must include the purchase order number from the purchase and the item number(s) being returned, as well as the reason for the return.

The product must still be in FACTORY SEALED CONDITION. If the product has been opened, we will not accept it back. WE DO NOT ACCEPT merchandise that has been opened. Under certain circumstances, we reserve the right to deduct up to 50% from your refund if the packaging has been damaged. Refunds are usually issued within 7 business days of receipt in the form of credit on your next order. Where the product is damaged in shipping, please bring that to the attention of the shipper immediately upon receiving the product to allow you to file a claim. Damage from shipping is not the responsibility of Select Imports.

We'll pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). When shipping back the incorrect item to us, please pack your returns securely. A UPS call tag will be issued within one week of starting the return procedure.

If the return was not due to an error of ours (ie. you ordered it and then decided later on that you don't want it), the buyer accepts full responsibility for all shipping costs plus a 25% restocking fee. If you order a replacement product of similar or higher value prior to the processing of the return, we reduce the restocking fee to $15.00. Note that because of shipping costs in both directions being non-refundable and the need for the restocking fee, returns of inexpensive items (less than $50.00) usually results in a minimal net value for the refund credit. In those cases, it may be best for you to keep the item and offer it as a promotional item or gift at a future date. Shipping and labour costs are not insignificant.

If you returned only one item from a multiple item order, you will be reimbursed only a portion of the shipping fee for the item you returned and not the entire shipment fee.
